Phillips Nizer Adds Richard Kaye as Partner

Phillips Nizer has added Richard Kaye as a partner. He joins from Ellenoff Grossman & Schole where he was chair of the litigation department and served as one of that firm’s managing partners.

Kurzman Eisenberg Corbin & Lever has promoted Kara Schissler, Moira Spollen and Wendy Teller to partners in the firm’s trusts and estate practice.

Christopher B. Harwood, co-chief of the Civil Frauds Unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, will join Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello as a partner, effective Jan. 1.

John Servidio has joined Goodwin as a partner in the firm’s capital market group. He was previously assistant general counsel at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Shearman & Sterling has elected five partners in its New York office. Grace Lee is a member of the firm’s litigation practice. Gillian Emmett Moldowan is a member of the compensation, governance & ERISA practice, and Derrick Lott, Roger Morscheiser and Cody Wright, all members of the firm’s mergers & acquisitions practice.

Winston & Strawn has elected Ilya Bubel, Jennifer Stadler, Matthew Stark and Ryan Walden to partnership.

Anup Misra has joined Curiam Capital, a private investment firm as a director to assist with underwriting financing opportunities related to intellectual property litigation. Before joining he was a litigation associate at Winston & Strawn.

White & Case has promoted Claudette Druehl, Joseph Furst III, Henrikki Harsu and Mårten Olsson to counsel.

Davis Wright Tremaine has added Peter N. Cubita as counsel. He joins the firm from Ballard Spahr, where he was of counsel.

Michael L. Yaeger has joined Carlton Fields as a shareholder He joins from Schulte Roth & Zabel.

Robinson+Cole has promoted Daniel Bryer and Ian Clarke-Fisher to partner, effective Jan. 1. Mr. Bryer is a member of the firm’s insurance and reinsurance group. Mr. Clarke-Fisher is a member of its business litigation group and its labor and employment group.

Kostelanetz & Fink has added Yoram Keinan as a partner. Prior to joining, he was a partner at Smith Gambrell & Russell.

Mayer Brown has promoted the following individuals to partner in the firm’s New York office: Joaquin M. C de Baca (restructuring, bankruptcy & insolvency), Colin Carley (corporate & securities), Geoffrey Collins (tax controversy), Michael Rayfield (litigation & dispute resolution) and Michael Weiss (real estate). In addition, James Ancone (litigation & dispute resolution) was promoted to counsel.

Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman has promoted Carson Cooper, Courtney Donahue Tasner, Margaret Hurley, and Ryan Stearns to senior associates at the firm.
